We test the tools and fix problems when we find them or when you report them, but we cannot promise that every result is correct or that every tool is always available. Conversions can lose quality, files can fail to process, and a bug can produce a wrong answer.

Check the output before you rely on it for anything important, and keep a copy of your original files. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by using the tools or their results.

Calculators are estimates, not advice

The paycheck calculator, the 1099 self-employment tax calculator, the Amazon FBA fee calculator and other number tools give estimates for planning. They use simplified rules and the rates or fee tables stated on each page, which may be out of date by the time you read them. They do not know your full situation.

Nothing on Fix42 is tax, financial, accounting, investment or legal advice. Before you make a decision, file a return or set a price, check the current figures with the official source (such as the IRS, the Canada Revenue Agency or Amazon Seller Central) or speak to a qualified professional.

Document templates are for legitimate use

The invoice, receipt, price quote, bill of sale, letterhead, resume and certificate generators are there to help you produce documents for real transactions and real achievements: billing your own customers, recording a sale you actually made, keeping records, or recognising someone.

Do not use them to create documents for transactions that did not happen, to claim expenses you did not pay, to impersonate a business or institution, or to pass off a certificate as an official qualification. That can be fraud, and you are responsible for how you use what you create.

The templates are general purpose. They are not legal documents drafted for your jurisdiction, and a bill of sale or similar form may need extra wording, witnesses or registration where you live.

Mockup generators are for design and education

The tweet, Reddit post, WhatsApp chat and WhatsApp status generators make mockups for design work, presentations, teaching, storyboards, parody that is clearly labelled, and testing. Output carries a "Mockup" watermark by default.

Do not use them to deceive people: no invented screenshots presented as real, no fake quotes attributed to real people, no fabricated evidence and no harassment. Doing so may break the law and the rules of the platform involved.

Guides and articles

Guides and blog posts are written to be accurate on the date shown on each page. Software, platform limits and prices change, so details may become outdated. If you spot an error, please let us know and we will correct it.

Names such as X (Twitter), Reddit, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Amazon, Excel and Google are trademarks of their respective owners. Fix42 is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. We use the names only to describe what a tool works with.
